Edit & Review Employee/User (Web)

CARDOPZ WEB / EMPLOYEE MANAMGENT

The Employee Management component is accessed as a separate section under the User Management module, providing specialized tools focused on staff management rather than patron management.

Accessing Employee Management

  1. From the main CardOpz menu, click on the Users icon (gold person icon)

  2. Select "Employee Management" from the dropdown options

  3. The Employee List interface will display all employee accounts

Interface Components

Employee List Grid

Displays all employee accounts with key information:

  • Employee ID: Unique identifier for each employee

  • RFID: Radio frequency identification for employee cards

  • Name: Employee's full name

  • Roles: Assigned security roles and permissions

  • Role Dropdown: Quick-access role modification control

Export Controls

Tools for data management and reporting:

  • CSV: Export employee list to comma-separated values format

  • PDF: Export employee list to PDF format

Search and Filtering

Tools for finding specific employees:

  • Search Field: Find employees by name, ID, or role

  • Show Entries: Control how many records display per page

  • Pagination: Navigate through multiple pages of results

Using Employee Management

Viewing Employee Roles

  1. Access the Employee Management interface

  2. Browse the complete list of employees

  3. Use search features to find specific staff members

  4. View assigned roles and access levels

Managing Employee Roles

  1. Locate the employee in the list

  2. Click the role dropdown to view available roles

  3. Select the appropriate role assignment

  4. System updates permissions immediately

Notes for Administrators:

To deactivate an RFID card or an Employee: Use the Desktop Application connected to an RFID reader.

SysAdmin role can not be removed from a user using this view: The Desktop application is required.

Exporting Employee Data

  1. Click the CSV or PDF button for desired format

  2. Specify any export parameters if prompted

  3. Save the exported file to your designated location

  4. Use exported data for reporting or auditing

    1. This view will export an employee ID, RFID card(s), Employees Name & Employee Role.

    2. Primarily intended for application access audit / surveillance purposes.
