Payout Structure

What It Does
The Payout Structure Setup screen allows you to create and manage reusable payout templates that define how prize money is distributed in your tournaments. These templates can be applied to any tournament and automatically scale payouts based on entry counts.
Who It's For
Tournament directors and poker room managers who need to establish consistent payout models across different tournament types while ensuring regulatory compliance and player satisfaction.

Payout Configuration Interface

The payout configuration screen displays:

Payout percentage grid
Entry thresholds for different payout tables

Adding Payout Groups
In the Create group up to field, input the maximum number of players for your first group: For example, if your payout structure starts at 1-9 players and pays three positions, enter 9 in the Create group up to field
Click Add to create the group
Group should now appear on the grid below next to "Positions"
Configuring Payout Percentages

You'll now see your payout group displayed next to the Position column
Select +Add until you reach the desired number of payout positions for that group
Use the bulk add feature to add 5, 10, or 20 positions at once
You cannot delete positions and can only delete groups
To delete a group, select the group header and select "Delete Range"
Input the percentage value for each payout position
The system will calculate the total percentage as you enter values
Click Save to store your payout structure
Cannot save a structure that is not exactly 100% distribution
Creating Additional Groups
Repeat the process of adding groups until you have all desired ranges
Consider your pay jump points when choosing group sizes
For example, if your first group covers 1-9 players and the next pay jump is at 18, set the second group to 18 (displayed as 10-18)
It's recommended to add more groups than you expect to use
If tournament entries exceed your final group range, the payout structure won't display any payout information, which could affect tournament performance
Follow steps under 1-4 under "Configuring Payout Percentages" until completion
Saving Your Structure

Common Questions
How do I handle special payouts like bounties?
Bounty amounts are configured separately in the tournament setup and are not part of the payout structure.
Can I modify a structure after it's been created?
Yes, you can edit a structure after its been created. However, it is not recommended to edit a payout structure if any active (running) event has that structure assigned. Utilize custom payouts in "Payout Slips" to manually remedy any issues with payout structures attached to active (running) events.
How are chopped prizes handled? (not located in tournament reports, unsure where payout slip report lives)
The Payout Slip Report allows for manual adjustment of final payouts when players agree to a deal.
