Bar Players From Facility
Cardopz makes it simple to bar and stop barred players from entering your card-house. This section will review:
Managing Barred Players from:
Membership Application (Desktop) - Patron List
When selecting a known patron who is barred, the gaming status will reflect the status and barred until date.

To Bar a player, select their record from the patron list then click edit.
In the top section of this form, Click on the 'Barred' Dropdown and select a reason from the options displayed below:
Permanent Barred Players - Leave the Until Date Blank
Temporary Barred Players - Set the Until Date - after this date passes, the system will no longer flag them as barred.

Note - you can not bar a player until a record has been created for them. If you wish to bar a player that is not yet in your application, create it and save. Then Edit the record to add the barred status information.
Cardopz Web - User / Patron Management
The web interface provides similar features as explained above, please review that section first.
Navigation: CRS Web / Users / Patron Management / Details’ button / Gaming Info Area
Select a Barred Reason
Set a Barred Until Date
If no date set player is barred indefinitely.
If the date is set, after that date, the player will no longer be shown as barred in the application, even though a Barred Reason is still set.
You can clear the reason or set the barred date to a different date as desired.

Barred Player Workflows:
Scan IDs to Check-in Patrons: When checking-in a barred player through the Check-In button, the desktop application will flag operators in several areas:
A Check-In Status Pop-Up will flash on the screen to alert security to stop a player.
The patron will be selected, and show the current status.
Cardopz Web has a report of every attempt of a barred player attempting entry.
Note for Cardopz & CMS Users - Check-In History Core process can be used, where the CMS is the barred player system of record. If you need more information regarding this process, please contact your account manager or the support team.
Barred Player - Tournament Registration:
Users can not buy barred players into tournaments - if attempted the application will throw a error to notify the cashier. Additional Barred notes can be viewed from this display.

Barred Player Report:
Navigation: Web Application / Reports / Barred Player Report
Requires: The Front Desk Check-In process is utilized & you capture an instance of a barred player attempting entry to the facility.
Objective: Primarily intended for surveillance purposes, this report will allow you to total the number of attempts of barred entry by patron, by month. Drill into monthly details to see specific dates within that month.

Barred Player Notes:
To record additional details on why, when and circumstances around the barred decision, please review the following section. Typically you can create a note from anywhere you can review patron notes.
Where to Create Notes:
Users/ Patron Management / Patron Details (See image above)
Click Player Notes
Select flag if it is an important barred note.
Click Add Note
Add or Manage (Delete) your existing notes
Example: 2 notes already created (one with barred flag), and a 3rd comment not yet submitted.

Tournament Registration View / Search for a player
Review the above first to understand the interface. You can open the same interface from your tournament registration view and add notes directly from here.
Note – The counter here only shows ‘Barred Notes’. If you don’t flag it as barred, you wont see the red counter. e.x. If you have 3 notes and only 2 flagged – It displays ‘2’

Note - If you add a barred note here – don’t forget to go to the patron view and bar them!
